Day 1 - Arrive in Kathmandu (4,430 ft): Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Venture out to explore the surrounding area if time permits.

Day 2 - Arrive in Paro (7200ft) – Drive to Thimpu (7600ft), approx. 1 hour drive: Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Thimphu, the world’s smallest capital city. After checking in at the hotel and freshening up, visit the Memorial Chorten, followed by a drive to Buddha Dordenma – a massive statue perched on a hilltop overlooking the Thimphu Valley.

Day 3 - Sightseeing in Thimphu: Spend the day exploring various sites that offer insight into Bhutanese art, architecture, and culture. Visit the Folk Heritage Museum, Simply Bhutan Museum, and Textile Museum, followed by the National Library and Tashichhodzong – the “Fortress of the Glorious Religion” and the seat of Bhutan’s royal government. If time permits, enjoy a leisurely stroll around the city.

Day 4 - Drive to Punakha (4070ft), approx. 3 hours’ drive: Make your way to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, enjoying panoramic views from the Dochu La Pass (10,200 ft). En route, take a short walk to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of the Divine Madman, a uniquely adorned 15th-century temple believed to bless visiting couples with fertility. After checking in at your hotel, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, one of the most spectacular in the country, which also serves as the winter residence of the Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot of Bhutan. If time permits, visit Ritsa Village, renowned for its rice cultivation, where both red and white rice are grown. Enjoy a stroll through this traditional village.

Day 5 - Drive to Paro (7200ft), approx. 4 hours’ drive: Retrace your drive across Dochu La Pass, through Thimphu, and onward to Paro. On the way, stop at the 15th-century iron bridge built by Thangtong Gyalpo (1385–1464) – a great yogi, physician, blacksmith, and architect. After lunch in Paro, visit Ta Dzong – the National Museum of Bhutan, which showcases the country’s rich culture, art, and natural history. Then, visit Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery overlooking the Paro Valley with a long and storied history. Built in 1644 by Ngawang Namgyal, the dzong served as a stronghold against repeated Tibetan invasion attempts.

Day 6 - Hike to Taktsang Monastery or Tiger's Nest (10240ft) in Paro: Rise early for the unforgettable hike to the magnificent Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The trail is approximately two miles long and takes about three hours uphill hike to reach the iconic Taktsang Monastery, which clings dramatically to a cliffside 3,000 feet above the valley floor. A sacred pilgrimage site, Tiger’s Nest is believed to be where the great tantric master Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) arrived on the back of a flying tigress. It is here that he meditated and spread the teachings of tantric Buddhism in Bhutan. After exploring the monastery, hike back down, an easy descent that takes around two hours. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 - Fly to Kathmandu & visit Bhaktapur: Transfer to Paro Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its medieval architecture and vibrant artisan culture. The square is a living museum of Nepal’s ancient urban design and craftsmanship. After the exploration of Bhaktapur, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Discover the rich cultural heritage of the Kathmandu Valley. Begin in Patan (Lalitpur), the city of fine arts, known for its exquisitely carved temples and courtyards. Visit local metal craft workshops. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Buddhist stupas and a center of Tibetan culture. End the day with a visit to Pashupatinath, Nepal’s holiest Hindu temple, set along the sacred Bagmati River and known for its unique spiritual atmosphere.

Day 9 - Fly to Pokhara (2,790 ft): Take a short scenic flight to Pokhara, a serene lakeside city nestled beneath the Annapurna range. Enjoy a boat ride on Fewa Lake, visit the International Mountain Museum, and stroll along the vibrant Lakeside area in the late afternoon.

Day 10 - Sightseeing in Pokhara: After breakfast, drive to Pumdikot (4,920 ft), an ancient hilltop fort that offers panoramic views of the Himalayas on a clear day. Then, enjoy a short walk to the World Peace Pagoda, with stunning vistas of Pokhara city, the lake, and surrounding mountain peaks. The afternoon is free to relax or explore at your own pace.

Days 11 &12 - Drive to Chitwan National Park (350 ft), approx. 3 hours’ drive: After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southern Nepal. The scenic drive takes you through the Trisuli River Gorge and the fertile plains of the Terai. Stay for two nights in a lodge near the park. Your Chitwan jungle experience includes activities like Jeep safari (seasonal), Boat rides, Sun downer, Cultural dance program etc. The activities are performed in a group. 

Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal, established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem and wildlife. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to rare wildlife, including the Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bear, and over 500 species of birds.

Note: From mid-June to early October (monsoon/post-monsoon), jeep safaris may be restricted due to muddy conditions. Alternate activities will be provided.

Day 13 - Fly to Kathmandu: Take a short flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The afternoon is free to relax or explore surrounding area at your own pace.
